What is the Clinic Technical Assistance Center?
The Clinic Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) is a training, consultation, and educational resource center available to all child and adult-serving clinics in New York State. CTAC will help your clinic address the challenges associated with the recent changes in clinic regulations, financing, and overall healthcare reforms.
Our goal is simple: to provide clinics with a set of technical assistance, training activities and tools that promote effective care through efficient practices.
CTAC will provide training and support on quality improvement strategies for your clinic -- including training on specific clinical skills and evidence-based practices. Importantly, CTAC will help your clinic develop strong business and financial models to ensure sustainability through learning collaborative and webinars.
CTAC training and technical assistance materials and tools are practical, user-friendly, accessible, and employ effective approaches reflecting the context of day-to-day clinic realities. Each training component accounts for today's financial and regulatory environment to insure that clinics can adapt to the rapidly changing behavioral health landscape.
Three initiatives that have been offered in the past are: The 4 Rs and 2 Ss for Strengthening Families (a learning collaborative on improving clinic practices for child behavioral difficulties), Training to Improve Engagement (TIES), and Business Efficiency and Effectiveness Practices (BEEP) Learning collaborative. We continue to offer both Business and Clinical webinars, trainings, and learning collaboratives to keep you up to date with clinic best practices.
